FAQ
Can Anyway jot open existing .txt files?
Yes — as long as the filenames match the date-based naming Anyway jot uses (yyyy-MM-dd-N.txt, optionally followed by _title). Files with other names are ignored.
How do I back up my notes?
Just copy the folder. Your notes are ordinary files — no export needed.
Will uninstalling delete my notes?
If you chose an external folder (Documents, etc.) when prompted on first launch, no — those files stay where they are. If you chose to keep notes inside the app, they may be removed with the app, so we recommend picking an external folder.
Is there a Markdown preview?
No, on purpose. What you type is exactly what you see.
Is there a Windows or iOS version?
No. Anyway jot is macOS only.
